Theme 8.  Getting to know the concept and term 'problem'

In the theme you learn:
• You will practice making inequalities and comparing numbers;
• You will get to know the concept of a 'problem' and its parts – the condition and the question;
• You will learn to choose the question and solution for the condition of a problem;
• You will calculate expressions with addition and subtraction;
• You will solve a problem using a short record and a diagram;
• You will strengthen your knowledge about the composition of numbers up to 10;
• You will improve your skills in finding the sum and difference of two numbers.
