1
Let's practice our spelling!
Look at the word NATURE. Find and click the letter A.
2
Look around.
Everything around you is your world – your environment.
Everything in this world is made of different elements and things.
Some things are made by people.
Houses, cars, roads and your favorite toys are man-made objects.
People built them to make life more comfortable.
But rivers, the sun, clouds, plants and animals are not made by people.
These are natural objects.
Remember, we, people, are also part of this big nature!
3
Let's find a natural object! Move it from the table to the chair.
4
Help Milo. Look at the pictures. Tap the odd one.
5
Everything in our amazing world of nature can be divided into two big groups: living and non-living.
Let's find out what belongs to them.
Non-living nature includes
rocks,
water,
air,
and the soil under your feet.
Also, the bright Sun,
the Moon,
faraway stars
and our whole planet Earth, where we live!
All plants belong to living nature,
animals
and us — people!
Let's find out the main secrets of living nature!
All living things, like this dandelion, can breathe, drink water, and grow.
They give new life and always change!
But in non-living nature, there are no such changes.
For example, this little stone does not breathe, does not eat, and does not grow by itself.
Even if you break it in half — it will just turn into two smaller stones.
Non-living things stay the same.
6
Let's sort the world of nature!
Move the non-living objects to the left, and the living ones to the right.
7
We came to the zoo! Find and click on all the living creatures around.
8
In nature, everything is connected!
All living things — plants, animals, and people — cannot live without non-living nature.
We all need clean air to breathe, cool water to drink, and also light and warmth from the sun.
But living nature also helps non-living nature!
Plants work like real superheroes.
They clean the air around us and fill it with fresh oxygen that we breathe every day.
When leaves fall from trees in autumn, they cover the ground with a warm blanket.
Over time, these leaves break down and become good food for the soil.
So the earth gets nutrients to grow new beautiful plants in spring!
9
Think about what a houseplant needs to grow.
Move it to the right place.
10
In nature, everything is connected!
Living things and non-living things always help or depend on each other to live and grow.
Animals need plants because plants give them tasty and healthy food: juicy leaves, sweet fruits, and nutritious seeds.
For many animals, plants have become a home.
Big trees and thick bushes protect birds, insects, and animals from rain, wind, and predators.
But animals also help plants a lot!
For example, woodpeckers spread seeds far in the forest.
A bird put an acorn in the ground — and in spring a new beautiful tree will grow here!
11
Think, with which plant is each animal connected?
First choose the animal, then the right plant.
12
Look at the picture. Choose the bird that is lower.
13
Move everything that belongs to non-living nature to the picture.
14
Help Max build the robot.
Choose the right parts.
15
Arrange the kitchen.
Move here all the things made by people.
16
Arrange the playground. Move the right man-made objects.
17
It is so nice to walk in the forest, breathe fresh air and listen to the birds singing!
But look — someone left trash here and cut down a tree.
Nature is asking us for help!
Each of us can become an eco-hero!
To save our environment— let’s plant new young trees together where old ones were cut down!
To keep the environment clean, always throw trash into special recycling bins.
For walks and trips, choose eco-friendly transport!
Ride a bike, scooter or walk with your parents.
It is not only fun, but it also helps the air stay clean and fresh!
18
Think, who takes care of the environment?
Choose the right pictures.
